Yakof is the founder and CEO of CIVIQUO - the Investment Migration Platform. Formerly a managing partner for a residency and citizenship by investment (RCBI) firm, Yakof was key in establishing, leading and managing the firm’s group functions (HR, IT, finance, legal & compliance), whilst maintaining direct responsibility for the group HR function. His contribution was essential for the firm’s impressive growth and for the development of the Malta Individual Investor Programme (MIIP). As the former Chief Officer for Risk and Compliance for the Government Agency which manages the MIIP, his re-design of the citizenship programs’s due diligence resulted in the process being recognised as the industry’s ‘gold standard’. Yakof authored the 3rd edition of the Malta IIP Handbook, and created the industry's first Risk Assessment Framework.
